We enjoyed a beautiful, sunny, if a little chilly, Winter Tour this morning. The highlight was a
Red Kite drifting low over Broadfield which evidently lingered in the area as it was later clocked over Round Meadow. Other sightings at CF included a
Meadow Pipit, two
Yellowhammers, 23
Fieldfares, 50
Redwings, 48
Skylarks, five
Rooks, four
Buzzards, a
Kestrel, three
Linnets and two
Common Gulls. In the BW sector were 12
Redwings, a
Buzzard and a
Skylark of note.
