The finch flock was still frequenting Quail Field, quite often moving en masse to Heathside Field. The Chaffinches in particular will spend some time up in the taller trees that grow alongside Copt Hill Lane. The neighbouring gardens are also attractive to them. With a little time (and a bit of patience), scanning of the flock should reveal a Brambling (or two).
