2018 OUTDOOR EVENTS
Note that any short-notice cancelations or alterations will be posted on our Twitter account. All walks are free (apart from the Arts Festival event) and everyone is welcome, though we won't turn down any small donations towards our activities, such as publishing our upcoming 2012-2016 report and holding stalls at local events. This year's walks will be led by David Campbell and Paul Goodman.

Spring Migration Tour Saturday 5th May; meet at Canons Farmhouse. Starts 09:00, ends 12:00. Possibility of Wheatear, Whinchat, Common Redstart, Ring Ouzel, Yellow Wagtail, Hobby, Red Kite and a variety of other migrants. 

Banstead Arts Festival Tour Sunday 6th May; meet at Canons Farmhouse. Starts 09:00, ends 12:00. £3 per person. Possibility of Wheatear, Whinchat, Ring Ouzel, Yellow Wagtail, Hobby, Red Kite and a variety of other migrants.

Butterfly Tour Saturday 28th July; meet at the Holly Lane car park. Starts 10:00, ends by 13:00. Possibility of Silver-washed Fritillary, Dark Green Fritillary, Chalkhill Blue, Purple Hairstreak, Marbled White and more woodland and chalk downland species. Bring lunch if you like!

Autumn Migration Tour Saturday 8th September; meet at Canons Farmhouse. Starts 09:00, ends 12:00. Possibility of Common Redstart, Spotted Flycatcher, Wheatear, Whinchat, Yellow Wagtail and a variety of other migrants.

Winter Tour Saturday 8th December; meet at Canons Farmhouse. Starts 09:00, ends 12:00. Possibility of large winter flocks of birds such as Yellowhammer, Fieldfare, Redwing, Skylark, Linnet and Chaffinch as well as a chance of Brambling, Siskin and Lesser Redpoll.


2018 INDOOR MEMBERS’ MEETINGS 

Friday 27th April Heathside, Burgh Heath. Meeting starts at 18:30. Option to meet at Canons Farmhouse for a preceeding walk from 17:30.

Thursday 6th September Rambler's Rest, Chipstead. Meeting starts at 18:30. Option to meet in Rambler's car park at 17:30 for a preceeding walk.

CHRISTMAS SOCIAL Thursday 6th December Rambler's Rest, Chipstead. General meeting 18:30-19:15, followed by Christmas social meal
