Below is the full list of birds known to have been recorded at the patch. All sightings are valuable and appreciated - please email yours to cfbwbirds@gmail.com, remember some things that are commonplace elsewhere are noteworthy including all fly-over waterbirds etc so we would be glad to hear about them! Bold species are those that are particularly scarce at the patch currently.

  11. Red-breasted Merganser - 1 record of 3 birds 2018

  13. Red-legged Partridge - formerly common, now a roughly annual visitor
  14. Grey Partridge - formerly common, no records for 40+ years

  17. Little Egret - 4 records: 1 in 2008, 1 in 2012, 1 in 2013, 1 in 2019
  18. Grey Heron - regular fly-over
