Weather: SW f2-3, sunny, dry. Cool.

Chiffchaff numbers continue to build in the woods. With plenty of migrants making landfall along the south coast today, some trickle through to our corner of Surrey would seem likely over the next couple of days.

Canons Farm: 4 MALLARD (Canons Residential), 2 PHEASANT, 2 COMMON BUZZARD, SPARROWHAWK, 2 KESTREL, 2 ROSE-RINGED PARAKEET, 2 LITTLE OWL (Bog Field), GREAT SPOTTED WOODPECKER, STOCK DOVE, 8 SKYLARK, 1 MEADOW PIPIT, 1 NORTHERN WHEATEAR ( Reeds Bottom), 4 JAY, 60+ LINNET (mainly Quail field), 5+ GOLDFINCH, 3 YELLOWHAMMER (including  singing Slangs).
